I’m rolling out this quick recipe along with coconut shrimp because it needs something to be dipped into, and just in case you might want to use this handy dip for just about anything else. It’s chilled, it has a touch of heat and it has a good balance of sweet and sour notes.
It’s pretty darn simple to make too. All you need is a can of pineapples and their juice, lime juice, brown sugar, cayenne and a food processor or blender. And 30 minutes chill time because it tastes wonderful that way.Print
- 1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks, with juice
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cayenne
- Blend all the ingredients for the sauce together and chill for 30 minutes
