This simple recipe for sesame noodles is great for quickly whipping up a batch of noodles when needed. If you enjoyed Broiled Sesame Salmon, you will like this. Enjoy!
Sesame Noodles
- Yield: 2 1x
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 lb. linguine, cooked al dente
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
Marinade
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon thick soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon thin soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons thin soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoon chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix together the marinade and combine with chicken in a ziplock bag, making sure to rub it in. Marinate for at least 2 hours
- Line a baking tray with foil and bake the chicken at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes, reserving the marinade
- Baste the chicken with the remaining marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Broil at 450 degrees F for 8 minutes until browned. Cut the chicken into slices
- Mix together the sauce ingredients and combine with the linguine, tossing to coat well
- Dish the noodles, arrange the chicken on it and serve hot, garnished with green onions

Well I’d always go for egg noodles if I can but it’s so hard to get them fresh and I don’t like mucking about with the frozen ones. Sub whatever type of noodles you like, I just happen to like the texture of linguini 🙂
