Sriracha Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined with tail on

Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the sauce ingredients
  2. Marinade the shrimp in 1/3 of the sauce for 15-30 minutes. Keep the remaining sauce for basting
  3. Soak your wooden skewers in some water
  4. Thread the shrimp with bamboo skewers
  5. Grill shrimp skewers while basting with the sauce, about 2 minutes per side until nice and charred
  6. Dish and serve hot with lime wedges and cilantro and/or a sauce dip/drizzle
