Ingredients

- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 egg, beaten
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 4 tablespoons cold water
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Over medium high heat, bring chicken broth to a boil
- Season with sugar and pepper and pour in the cornstarch mixture
- Once the soup has thickened, remove from heat
- Drizzle in the egg slowly and gently stir in one direction with a fork until you have enough egg strands
- Pour in sesame oil and mix well
- Garnish with green onions and serve hot
