This recipe for salmon in creamy dill sauce has seasoned baked salmon paired with a chilled cream sauce infused with lemon and fresh dill.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb. salmon fillets (5-8 oz. each)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

DILL SAUCE

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream-style horseradish, add as needed
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of salmon with lemon pepper seasoning and onion powder.
  2. Place salmon on a baking sheet and dot with melted butter.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
  4. Combine the sauce ingredients and mix until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Dish and serve hot with chilled dill sauce.
