Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups carrot, sliced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon five spice powder
Instructions
- Over medium high heat, melt butter in pan and saute carrots
- Add five spice powder and stir to combine
- Pour in water, soy sauce and sugar and bring to a boil
- Lower heat to medium low and cover, simmering until carrots are tender
- Dish and serve hot
