Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups carrot, sliced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon five spice powder

Instructions

  1. Over medium high heat, melt butter in pan and saute carrots
  2. Add five spice powder and stir to combine
  3. Pour in water, soy sauce and sugar and bring to a boil
  4. Lower heat to medium low and cover, simmering until carrots are tender
  5. Dish and serve hot
