Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 lb. beef cut into thin strips
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1” nob of ginger, peeled and cut into matchsticks
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoons cold water
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1” pieces
Marinade
- 2 tablespoons thin soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
Instructions
- Combine the marinade ingredients and marinate with beef slices for 30 minutes
- Over medium high heat, saute garlic and ginger until fragrant
- Toss in the marinated beef and stir to combine, sauteing until beef is cooked on both sides, about 1 minute
- Pour in the cornstarch slurry and mix until the sauce thickens
- Pour in sesame oil and toss to combine
- Toss in green onions and stir to mix for 1 minute
- Dish and serve hot
