Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless salmon fillets
- 2 shallots, sliced thinly
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1” pieces
Sauce
- 2 tablespoons thick soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar
Garnish
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix together the sauce ingredients until the sugar dissolves
- Cut out enough tin foil to wrap up each salmon steak and spray with cooking oil
- Place salmon in the foil and brush generously with sauce on both sides
- Arrange shallots, ginger, garlic and green onions on the salmon
- Pour the remaining sauce over the salmon and seal up the foil into a loose tent
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes
- Dish and garnish with lime wedges and toasted sesame seeds
